Tayo Femi-Fowode


Tayo is a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer of Vinawel Capital Management LLC. Prior to joining, he was a Business Integration Leader for a Fortune 500 company participating in post-merger integration of multi-billion dollar acquisitions. Prior to that, Tayo worked as Project Manager in the asset management division of Rolls-Royce Energy, and Managing Partner at TFO Investments LLC, a boutique private equity firm. Tayo has been investing in emerging market government securities for over a decade with average annual returns in the low teens. Tayo is a second-generation Nigerian-American, mostly growing up in Texas.

Tayo holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Finance from Columbia Business School.  He also holds a master’s of science in chemical engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York, and a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) in chemical engineering from Prairie View A&M University outside of Houston, Texas.
